The First Nations Resource Centre Hazelton (FNRC – H) is a service to Upper Skeena teachers and support staff and independent schools  who would like to incorporate and/or extend Aboriginal resources  and curriculum into their classrooms.

We are a new Centre and are in the process of collecting an extensive library of resources by and about Aboriginal people – local, regional, provincial, Canadian, world wide.

The First Nations Resource Centre Hazelton is housed at Hazelton Secondary School and located in room 121 (the next room past the Library)

We also have a meeting space that is available for bookings to district staff and teachers. The room comes equipped with computer, LCD projector and video conferencing

We are just initiating the new First Nations Role Model Program and are in the process of locating role models who are able to go out into the classroom to help enrich First Nations curriculum.
